As congestion worsens, our elected representatives appear to be without a solution. Perhaps a public conversation between informed and caring members of the community will clarify for them, and others, what is going on - and what we can do moving forward.
In Santa Cruz County, progress has been made with private micro-transit (bikes, e-bikes, and scooters). Now, two new technologies promise widespread community benefits: automated vehicles (robo-taxis) and Personal Rapid Transit (PRT, or podcars).
